The sektoreins web app is the digital control room for your plant technology. Readings, operating states and control logic come together on the platform. No portfolio is too large, no site too far away. sektoreins gives you 24/7 control over your technology and is tailored precisely to the requirements and legal regulations of energy engineering.

  • Multi-tenant portfolio operationAll sites in one interface, each with map, status and contact person. Any number of installations can be added and organised. Roles and permissions are assigned per tenant and per site.
  • Monitoring and visualisationAll readings, states and events live, clearly laid out in one dashboard and stored permanently. The operating log records every configuration change made by users and thereby keeps operation transparent.
  • Mapping electrical installationsThe electrical metering concept is rebuilt fully digitally: metering points, generators, loads and storage with all their connections. Feed-in, grid supply and remuneration are therefore assigned traceably at all times.
  • Showing the hydraulics of the heating systemBoiler, heat pump, buffer store and the rest are mapped and connected in the hydraulic schematic. Every reading sits where the device is actually installed, regardless of the data source.

  • Weather and market dataWeather data, grid fees and price signals from the day-ahead and intraday market are available in the platform and can be used for operational scheduling.
  • Anomaly detection and notificationIf operation suddenly deviates from the learned behaviour or from the forecasts, sektoreins reports what stands out. This also makes faults visible that do not breach any static limit value.

Gateway

Our hardware provides secure and reliable communication for every task in monitoring, control and optimisation. The gateway connects existing devices regardless of manufacturer and sends the data encrypted to the web app. The device is installed within the installation and can also work with a PLC for real-time capable control.

That can only be answered individually and depends above all on the goals you are pursuing. Besides measurable cost savings from more efficient energy use, sektoreins also makes it far more efficient to monitor plant technology and to configure and adjust control logic. Anyone currently spending a lot of time on manual checks or configuration often benefits sooner than expected.

A blanket answer would be dishonest and would not do the question justice. The choice of reference value alone influences the result considerably. What we can say from practice: the range runs from the high single-digit percentages to over 30 %, always depending on how the installation was operated before. Field studies on intelligent building and heat supply show savings potential between 13 and 20 %, a range in which we also operate with sektoreins. Complex, sector-coupled supply systems offer the greatest leverage: a fully predictive operating mode — deliberately pre-charging storage, exploiting favourable price windows and coordinating several generators — achieves considerably more than rigid control strategies.

Installing the gateway and configuring the data interfaces is usually finished within one to three working days. Forecasts and optimisation need a learning phase in which the data models learn from actual operation. The first results are visible after a few weeks, full performance after a few months.

sektoreins uses the same encryption technology as other security-critical web applications, online banking among them: all communication runs over TLS 1.3, and access is additionally secured with two-factor authentication. Only as a web app can sektoreins be operated and rolled out quickly and efficiently. Users automatically always have the latest software version — a clear advantage for IT security over locally installed applications.

Yes, that is possible in principle. For customers with the appropriate IT infrastructure we offer on-premise operation on request. Please contact us directly and we will discuss the technical prerequisites.

No. After installation you can manage the systems independently, we stay in the background. On request we do take on the work of new or further setup for new integrations, conversions or complex tasks.

All information comes together in the web app, regardless of whether it was captured by sektoreins' own monitoring or by an external automation solution. The forecasts, digital twins and operating schedules that are produced are shown in the web app, can be configured there and then carried out through sektoreins controls or an external solution. Without the web app it is not possible to visualise and manage forecasts and operating schedules.

Depending on requirements sektoreins uses various models, often Siemens LOGO!, Controllino or Opta Finder. Which model makes sense is discussed beforehand, and we prepare the device with the appropriate software directly for the customer.

sektoreins is a SaaS product that requires an ongoing software licence. The running costs depend on the effort required and the size of the installation. Because every installation and every requirement is different, we always discuss pricing personally.
